HOLLAND RESCUE MISSION

Here is your opportunity this Lenten Season to reach out and show YOUR love for God's people. We need some new faces to serve the meal to the residents of the Mission. As a Lenten exercise, why not choose the time from 11:00 am-2:00 pm this Sunday, March 14th and join the group that prepares and serves the meal. No experience is necessary! Contact Wendy today!

OPERATION EASTER JOY!

This ministry is our way here at Holy Redeemer Parish of reaching out and sharing the joy of the Easter Season with those in need in our local community.  On Saturday, March 27th, we will deliver to the homes of 25 families their Easter meal.  Also, the children of these families will each receive a basket filled with all those “goodies” kids like!  Each parishioner has the opportunity to be part of this ministry by donating the necessary items, assembling the meal and the children’s baskets, or BOTH!  What a way to share God’s Love for all His people by having your family visit these homes.  Families wishing to assemble and/or deliver the Easter meal to these families please contact Maria.

Items needed are:
Hams - Canned Green Beans - Canned Corn - Crm. of Mushroom Soup - French Fried Onions - Green & Black Olives - Boxed Potatoes - Fruit Cocktail - Pineapple - Salad Dressing - Jell-O - Holiday Napkins - Coffee - Juice - Candy - Monetary Donations - Egg Coloring Kits - Children’s Easter Basket Items

Friday evenings during Lent at 7:00 pm, we gather in the church and celebrate communal prayer centered on the Way of the Cross.
Each week will feature a different set of stations.

PLAY GROUP

Playgroup is for toddlers, 6 months-4 years old and an adult; they are invited to join us for fun and fellowship on every other Friday morning from 10:00-11:00 am in the Parish Nursery.   We look forward to a fun filled hour. If you have a 5 year old at home during this time bring them along as well. Come join us, Friday, March 19th!!

RECYCLE!

Recycle your inkjet and laser printer cartridges, old cell phones, IPOD'S, old digital camera's, video games, etc. Drop boxes are located outside the Parish and Faith Formation Offices. Don't forget to feed our Paper Gator! Items accepted are: newspaper, office paper, shredded paper, catalogs, magazines, phone books, junk mail... NO CORRUGATED CARDBOARD! NO PLASTIC! And remember to save your aluminum can tabs for our "Tabs for Tots", a collection box is located in the outer Narthex of church, this benefits pediatric medical services in West Michigan. Let's all continue our efforts to GO GREEN!
