Lent is a perfect time to encourage individuals to return to Mass. Beginning Thursday, February 18th those who are able to attend Mass should return, remembering that our physical presence at the Eucharistic table is irreplaceable. Dispensation will remain in place until further notice for any Catholic who cannot attend Mass in person because of health reasons or other excusing factors to ensure that anyone who needs to stay home can do so in good conscience.
This dispensation does not apply to those who are able to attend Mass. All baptized Catholics are reminded of their obligation to keep the Lord’s Day holy.
Public Masses and the celebration of the sacraments will continue with the appropriate COVID-19 mitigation strategies in place.
If you are homebound, please contact your parish to inquire about the ability to have Communion brought to you.
Please read the guidelines below for returning to public Masses.
